The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Architect to support the existing North Carolina Child Support Services (CSS) applications. As a Senior Program Architect, you will play a key role in ensuring that the CSS applications continue to meet the IRS 1075 requirements and assist with regular IRS review and mitigation needs. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the effort in planning and implementing the Child Support application modernization, as well as working on needed Child Support program enhancement efforts spanning across Mainframe and web applications. Some of the key responsibilities include: Providing architecture support and management for existing CSS applications Working on software and application upgrades, database administration, CICS, and Telon technical support Leading the effort to ensure that all CSS Applications (mainframe and web) continue to meet IRS 1075 requirements Assisting with regular IRS review and mitigation needs Planning and implementing the Child Support application modernization Working on needed Child Support program enhancement efforts spanning across Mainframe and web applications (Java, WebSphere, Windows server) Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Required) 7+ years of experience in architecture support and management (Required) 10+ years of experience in DB2 (Z/OS) application (Required) 7+ years of experience in TELON (Mainframe) Architecture (Required) 7+ years of experience in Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, Zeke, X/PTR (Required) 7+ years of experience in planning and implementation (Required) 5+ years of experience in tools and technology for data encryption (Required) 6+ years of experience in Child Support business (Required) 5+ years of experience in structured system development methodologies (Required) 5+ years of experience in waterfall (Required) 5+ years of experience in WebSphere, Java (Required) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be an asset in this role: Experience working with remote teams and stakeholders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills in Mainframe and web applications (Java, WebSphere, Windows server) Excellent architecture support and management skills Strong experience in DB2 (Z/OS) application and TELON (Mainframe) Architecture Ability to work with various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
