Key Responsibilities As a Remote Data Entry and Optimization Specialist for Disney, you will play a critical role in supporting the Advanced Analytics & Optimization (AAO) team. Your primary responsibilities will include: Data Ingestion and Management: Focus on increasing the data ingest footprint to include new data assets and Consumer Products data in line with the MSAO data roadmap. Data Quality and Lineage: Build object-level automated policies to detect and rectify data quality issues, enabling lineage to be tracked and tested from ingest to end-use within one day of ingestion. Data Mapping and Coordination: Build end-to-end data mapping for new data tables and coordinate the handoff to the development team for code review and load implementation. ETL Process Design and Implementation: Design and implement ETL processes for internal DPEP business data to be used in modeling and reporting. Production Support: Assist with the support of production source data ingest, ETL processes, and batch scheduling. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Minimum 2 Years of Professional Work Experience: In data analysis, data management, or a related field. Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with growing and deploying in cloud-native environments, ideally AWS cloud and/or Snowflake (1-3 years). ETL Utility Design and Development: Working knowledge of ETL utility design, data infrastructure architecture disciplines, and languages such as Python, R, JAVA, and SQL. Advanced SQL Skills: Advanced SQL experience growing complex queries and tuning (2+ years). Programming Skills: Programming experience in Python or R (1-3 years). Data Architecture and Data Warehousing: Demonstrated expertise in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Advanced Analytics, or Data Science implementations, such as Data Modeling and Data Cataloguing. Data Modeling and Data Cataloguing: Data Modeling experience with ERWin or other enterprise-standard DM tools (2+ years), and Data Cataloguing experience with Informatica Metadata Manager, Alation, or other enterprise-standard cataloguing tools (2+ years). Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize and present complex analytics to senior leadership. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you will need: 3+ Years of Professional Work Experience: In data analysis, data management, or a related field. Prior Work Experience in Media or Analytics Consulting: Prior work experience within a media company or analytics consulting firm. Product and Delivery Experience: Demonstrated product and delivery experience across all levels in the solutions of data management answers – from data sourcing to end-state delivery/consumption. Agile Framework Experience: Experience delivering in team environments using Agile framework. Git and Continuous Integration Experience: Experience with Git, Continuous Integration, and related tools. Unit Testing and Integration Testing Skills: Demonstrated unit testing and integration testing skills. Education and Training We require a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Operations Research.
