Smarter College is Juno’s scholarship platform. Every month we award a $2,000 scholarship that attracts tens of thousands of high school students and their parents. Beyond scholarships, we help families navigate the complex world of financial aid, student loans, and educational resources. By connecting entrants to products and services that support their journey, we’re able to fund and sustain the scholarship program itself. Our Goal Success in this role means helping Smarter College grow to 500,000+ qualified leads per year while operating at break-even or better. Over time, targets will expand to increase both the scale of lead generation and profitability. What You’ll Do This role is highly cross-functional — blending marketing, partnerships, analytics, and customer experience. You won’t need to master every skill, but you’ll excel in several and grow in others. Content / Mass Communications Draft, review and schedule broadcast emails Draft, review and manage campaign emails (welcome sequences etc.). Website / Funnel Ensure the website is functional and raise any issues identified Test different variations of the web and email content to improve conversion rates Outbound Partnerships Manage relationships with the partners that we send leads to Measure the performance of these partners Find new partners that can generate a higher revenue for us Inbound Partnerships Manage relationships with the partners that we receive leads from Measure the performance of these partners Find new partners that might be more affordable to get leads from Paid Media Develop and execute advertising campaigns across Facebook / Google / TikTok Continuously optimize for cost per acquisition Analytics Review performance dashboards in PowerBI and make data-driven decisions Request and interpret new data as needed to guide strategy Customer Experience Oversee our customer service representative handling user inquiries in HelpScout Provide clear guidance to ensure applicants and parents get timely, helpful responses What Success Looks Like Growing Smarter College to 500,000+ annual leads Driving sustainable economics (scholarship program self-funded through partnerships, ads, and product promotions) Expanding both lead volume and profit margin over time Who You Are You thrive at the intersection of marketing, data, and partnerships You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves — whether it’s drafting copy, analyzing data, or negotiating with a partner You’re motivated by growth and willing to test, learn, and optimize continuously You enjoy working with autonomy while being part of a mission-driven team Ideal Candidate Background We are looking for someone who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Some backgrounds that may be a good fit include: Former consultants (e.g., management consulting, growth strategy, digital transformation) who are ready to apply structured problem-solving to an operational and entrepreneurial environment Former founders who have built (or tried to build) their own ventures, and are comfortable managing ambiguity, driving growth, and balancing strategy with execution Digital marketers or growth managers with experience running email campaigns, ad platforms, or lead generation funnels Data-driven operators who are comfortable pulling insights from dashboards, running tests, and making evidence-based decisions Key Skills That Will Help You Succeed Strong written communication and copywriting ability (emails, landing pages, partner outreach) Comfort with analytics tools (PowerBI, Google Analytics, or similar) Experience with paid ads (Facebook, Google, TikTok) a strong plus Ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders and geographies Problem-solving mindset: you enjoy figuring out what’s not working and fixing it Self-starter who can thrive in a remote, globally distributed team Why Join Us Be part of a mission-driven team helping students and families afford higher education Gain ownership over a high-growth product with direct impact on revenue and scale Work with smart, collaborative colleagues who care about making a difference Other Expectations Location: Fully remote (open to candidates worldwide) Time Zone: Must have at least 3–4 hours of daily overlap with Eastern Time (ET) for team collaboration Compensation: Competitive base salary above local market rates, reflecting the global nature and responsibility of the role Work Environment: You’ll have the independence of remote work while being part of a fast-moving, mission-driven team AI Literacy: You should have a working knowledge of using chatbots like ChatGPT to improve your productivity Apply to this Job
