As an Alarm Installation Technician, you'll be an integral part of our team, working with cutting-edge technology and providing top-notch service to our residential customers. Key Responsibilities: Installing and Supporting Residential Security Systems Installation and programming of Burglar Alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and Access Control Systems for residential customers, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Installing window breaks, door units, smoke detectors, and other security devices to provide comprehensive protection for our clients. Troubleshooting signal issues to ensure alarm functions properly, resolving problems efficiently and effectively. Perform daily hands-on field interaction with customers at the site level, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs. Test and verify signals for equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and meeting customer expectations. Train customers on the use of equipment, answering questions and providing guidance to ensure they're comfortable and confident with their new security systems. Completing necessary customer paperwork for each job, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company standards. Cost and track all parts utilized for each individual job installed, prior to closing out the job with the dispatch center, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to efficiency. Maintaining accurate truck inventory of ADT products, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and easily accessible. Provide top-quality customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Achieve 90% Goal Attainment for completed installations and zero 'go-backs,' demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering exceptional results. Tools and Equipment: What You'll Need To perform this role effectively, you'll need to have access to certain tools and equipment, including: A 6-foot ladder (a Little Giant that folds up is recommended for ease of transport). Screwdrivers and an electric drill. Wire cutters and a hand sheetrock saw. While you don't need to have all of these tools on day one, we're looking for someone who is willing to invest in the necessary equipment to perform the job effectively. Your Vehicle and Travel Requirements You'll need to have a reliable vehicle to travel to customer locations, and we're looking for someone who is willing to work within a reasonable radius of their home. While we can't reimburse for mileage in most cases, we'll consider reimbursement for mileage in excess of 40 miles from one location to another. Schedule and Work-Life Balance We're looking for someone who is available to work Tuesday through Saturday, with a commitment to being on time and meeting deadlines.
